It gets warmer in Russia 2.5 times faster than in other countries
According to the Roshydrometeorological Center, the increase in the average annual temperature in Russia for the period from 1976 to 2019 amounted to about 0.47 degrees per decade. This is almost 2.5 times the rate of increase in global temperature over the corresponding period, which was only 0.18 degrees per decade.
We will remind, earlier the head of the Russian Meteorological Service Roman Vilfand made a statement that this winter has become the warmest in the history of our country for the entire period of meteorological observations. The previous record for the winter months 2015-2016 was exceeded by 1.3 degrees this time.
